The Community and School Association, of the Iran Cultural and Educational Center (ICEC) is a liaison group between the families, the community at large, and the Center. The Association’s main purpose is to build a support network that can assist ICEC to achieve its stated mission of promoting the Iranian culture. The Association has various committees that are active in the planning, preparation and implementation of cultural events at the Center and in the community. The Association is a volunteer body whose officers are its president, vice presidents, immediate past-president, and financial officer. The Association’s current committees are: Yalda ( Prepares the celebration of Winter Solstice) Talent Show ( Presents the students' talents) Writer's workshop ( Presents students' writing and art work in an exhibit) NoRouz ( Organizes the celebration of Iranian New Year) Community Festivals ( Presents the center at local community festivals ) Graduation/Picnic ( Organizes Gtaduation and summer picnic for the center and its families) Book Committee ( Collects information for the center's educational group) Computer Committee
